Question by ghost: I have an uncle that gets 120 percocet 10’s a month and runs out of them after a few days, then he goes the to?
the ER everyday and calls and whines to his doctor until he can get them refilled the month. I’m kind of wondering why he takes them all in a few days. And why he goes to the emergency room constantly for pain shots.
I’ve been to the ER for a back problem and they made me wait forever. They drew blood and then some doctor gave me 15 ultram 50 mg. pills. I found it to be expensive and a waste of time and energy.
I was cut off of norco 5/325 because a group home I stayed at for a little over a month had a problem with me asking for them as a PRN twice a day. A CMA told me in anger that she was faxing my doctor to say I was asking for to many narcotics. So I wrote her head boss, and the one nurse on staff took me into her office and called me a drug addict, and said she was sending me to a drug rehab during the day. So I obviously left the group home that day in disgust. And they got my food stamps taken away, and it took a month to get them back.
Anyway, how come my uncles doctor keeps tolerating his behavior, but I get cut off of norco 5/325 twice a day for a complaint from a group home that I was “abusing” them?
Seems like a double standard.
And my uncle drinks beer and smokes pot all the time. And I do neither of these things.
Yes Mark, one Chinaman doctor told me he would only give me 200 mg. of ultram a day if my back was broken. And that is ultram! lol But I don’t want to misuse any drugs, I just want to take what works.

Your Uncle’s case is more than likely different. Seems like he is just using them for recreational purposes. You may want to see another doctor. I had to see like 6 doctors before they would prescribe vicodin for my bulging and ruptured disc.
