Psychology is not counselling. A lot of people take a psychology course because they think it’ll qualify them as a counsellor or a therapist and this is just not so. Psychology these days is very science-based. You’ll need to do statistics classes and some of the modules within psychology are very scientific (eg Biopsychology and Behavioural Analysis). It’s fascinating though and if you’re genuinely interested in why human beings behave in the ways they do, then i’m sure you’ll enjoy it :) Good luck!!
