Im 13 and today I was caught shoplifting 70 dollers worth of cosmetics. My mom was ok with it cause she steals too but she has yet to tell my dad. I have a bail of $ 300 dollars and a family cort case in 3 months. No it will not go on my record because it was my first time caught and im a minor. Im afraid of my dad. He just yelled at me for getting a too expensive $ 5.00 red bull and Imagine when my mom tells him he has to pay my $ 300 doller fine. Im scared shitless. My parents have been fighting every week for the past 13 years together. Today was one of the days. I remeber my mom telling me to call the cops and my dad saing dont and me just standing there not knowing what to do. I shoplift to make me forget of my problems and it makes me happy for a while. No im not excusing myself I just need help emotionally. Ialways try to stop the fight but my dad says “shut the **** up look what your causing” or “I swear ill shoot you.” I know he wouldn’t dare but it hurts my feelings. I dont cry anymore because im used to it. I dont tell because my dad will probably go to jail for lifetime for his marijuanna collection. I have a sister (2), brother (1), and another brother (11) and anotheer one on the way. Its affecting all of us. I just dont want to end up a drug addict like my sister because she wasnt strong enough to deal with my parents. I also know my mom used to work as a prostitue and she said she would go back there because she felt like home there. Dont suggest to talk to my mom or dad because that would just result in me getting hit.

Get away from your dad ASAP, call family services on him, saying he is being a dick and threatening, it may sound absurd to do, but trust me, it’ll be worth it, there is always a light at the end of every tunnel, just keep staying strong, don’t let depression get to you.
