If it is a crime then how can it be a disease? If it is a disease then how can it be a crime? From what I read pedophilia is a disease, a mental deficit, so how can you charge someone with a crime for doing something they can’t control? Is being a pedophile like being left-handed? Why is pedophilia the only mental disease that can get you charged with a crime? Shouldn’t they get help not jail time?
