I know, I know… you always hear potheads asking “Why isn’t it legal?”… they just ask it because they only want to get high and fail at life… but seriously… why not try legalizing it for a year and seeing the changes in american culture
Crime: Crime rate would drop alot because hey… youre high… you dont want to fight… you want peace and food
There would be less people in prisons for possession, intention to sell, usage, and propaganda of this so-called “drug”
and compare it to alcohol; for most people alcohol can make you become aggravated much, much easier, and when youre drunk, you feel much more selfish and cocky… if youre high you are much more social, you are very, very chill… you cant necessarily “abuse” it to the point of injury/death … you dont want to drive… you dont want to fight… you just want to be with your friends and sit there chilling
and compare the US to countries that marijuana is “tolerated”… Murder/death is higher because over there… people are much more chill… they dont fight… their isnt as much “drug wars” or anything…
and to top it all off… the drinking age is lower
and people say “it kills brain cells/ gives you slower reaction time”…
but doesnt alot of stuff kill your brain cells? cleaners, gas fumes, playing contact sports… ALCOHOL?!?!?!… and slowing reaction time?… some OTC medicines slow reaction time too… oh and so does alcohol… hmmm….
now… its been 2 years since ive smoked weed… but I 100% support the legalization of it
and I know you have probably seen the Katt Williams stand up… “Its god given, and when you set it on fire there just so happens to be some side effects…”Hungry Happy Sleepy”… its not like other “drugs” that you have to do sh*t chemically to it”
and this isnt really a question directed towards pot smokers… but hey I want every side of it… so tell me weather you are pro/con… and a smoker/non-smoker
and really… can the government give us a good reason as to why its not legal?
