Ryan sat on the couch, so Stephanie followed. He looked up and saw that her eyes were red, so he felt bad. “Is now a bad time?” “No, it’s fine. Tell me what you want to tell me.” Ryan took Stephanie’s hand and looked her in the eyes. “Stephanie, I am so sorry for everything that I put you through the last eight months. After you walked out yesterday I realized that you were only trying to help and that I was being a jerk about it.
