Hershel Walker at the OAAG Convention 2009. What a great speaker he turned out to be… and a fine example to anyone. He has succeeded in many things, including how one should live their lives for others. He’s opened three hospitals and a rehab center so far and operates a successful food service company. He still is very athletic and still performs 1000 situps each day.

I had the 300mm lens with teleconverter on, so had to stand halfway into the next booth just to get her in the frame, and then of course other tourists would walk through and get in the way. Since she wasn’t going anywhere, I soon switched to the 35mm lens.

st-patrick / laprairie – pointe-st-charles

This abandonned building at 1295 Laprairie, near St.Patrick ( In pointe-st-charles) was erected in 1910 and, according to the Lovell Directory, was either the Presentation Brothers School or the Chauveau School at first. Around 1950, it was listed as the Canon O’Meara Academy and in the late 70s, various organization occupied the place : Fairshare, Return to normal life, Catholic family and children’s services division of ville-marie social service, and finally, it became a rehab center in the 1990s, Maison Decision.

Anyone knows is there are plans for this building nowadays?
