Medical marijuana bill stalls in Illinois House
Fearing that it would lead to widespread use of marijuana and other illicit drugs, the Illinois House on Tuesday rejected legislation that would allow use of cannabis for debilitating medical problems. The bill’s sponsor, Skokie Democratic Rep. Lou Lang, used a procedure to preserve the measure for another vote later.
