Melissa S. went through New Directions for Women as a child with her mother, who was receiving addiction treatment services. Almost nine years later, both mother and child are sober and doing well! Melissa will be joining us by volunteering to speak to our women and sharing her experiences, strength, and hope. New Directions for Women is a safe, caring and sensitive residential treatment facility located in Orange County, CA. By providing exceptional, gender-separate and specific addiction treatment services that are grounded in 12-Step principles, New Directions assists women, families and their children to achieve sustained responsible recovery.
