My Sister Was Somewhat Unfortunate and Upset My Daughter, How Should I Deal With This?
Question by Laura: My sister was somewhat unfortunate and upset my daughter, how should I deal with this?
My 15 yo daughter isomewhat different from most girls her age. She hangs out with friends, plays sports, is very responsible, excellent student and loves math. So, she studies much more than required by school, has several books about things like Topology (no idea what this is), browses through sites on math, takes part in a math group where there are even doctors. Many people, including my sister, thinks this is weird, say there’s something wrong with my girla nd I should do something. My sister, 35, is somewhat immature, her husband is rich, she doesn’t work, loves clothes, shopping, parties. A great sister though, my girl loves her Yesterday we were talking and my girl said she spent the whole saturday afternoon trying to understand a theorem and got very happy cause she succeeded. My sister said that was crazy and I should be more worried then if my girl was on drugs. She got upset, shocked, now she’s thinking there’s something wrong with her, something happened in her 15 yo head
