New Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Resource Launched

Dr. James Lange of AODInitiatives.ORG (http://www.aodinitiatives.org) has launched AODWiki (http://aodwiki.org), a new open source for drug and alcohol abuse prevention information.

AODWiki joins the ranks of other public open source web resources using a Wiki format. Wiki sites are unique in that all content within the site is open to editing by any visitor.

“By opening the site to interested users, we hope to gather the collective wisdom of the drug abuse prevention community,” said Dr. Lange.

AODWiki is free, and has already gathered a number of articles on prevention topics. Visitors are encouraged to visit the site, and add or modify content.

There have been a number of Wiki sites emerging recently, but AODWiki is the only one devoted to alcohol and other drug abuse prevention.
