Area residents among 33 to enter guilty pleas
Joshua Napolitano, 31, of 418 Hazle St., Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to possession of a small amount of marijuana and was sentenced to serve 30 days on probation, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, and $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA). Napolitano was cited by Patrolman Richard Bekely, Tamaqua police.

Six area residents enter guilty pleas
Danny T. Day, 46, of 514 Arlington St., Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to driving while his operating privileges were suspended and was sentenced to serve 30 days in the county prison and pay a fine of $1,000. On a charge of driving the wrong way on Hagarty Avenue, Tamaqua, last Aug. 7 was fined $25 plus $50 costs.
