Number 12 Foundation Opens Office in Beachwood, OH

Building Bridges to Lasting Recovery

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) August 14, 2010

Number 12 Foundation provides research and implementation necessary to provide optimal treatment recovery programs for still-suffering alcoholics and addicts. The Foundation works with communities, and institutions such as rehabilitation and treatment centers, detox centers, halfway houses, judicial and correctional systems, and other non-profit organizations to build new, innovative methods combined with historically proven 12-Step methods to deliver long-term recovery solutions. Their partnerships and community outreach has resulted in the establishment of their first Number 12 House located in Kent, OH; Number 12 Programs, and free recovery services to all individuals and families in need.

Founder Jeff Christian states: “We build bridges between institutions and lasting recovery. We fill the gaps that exist today between families, communities, treatment and detox centers, halfway houses, judicial and correctional systems, and other non-profit organizations—and a clean and sober life. In the process, we are in the business of saving our country half a trillion dollars per year in the real costs, to the taxpayer, associated with programs and services that have a failure rate of approximately 95%. We stand alone in the broad, not-for-profit field of changing lives for the better with this distinction.”

He continues: “For instance, our programs deliver long-term recovery solutions, greatly reducing the rate of relapse and the costly recidivism endemic to our correctional systems. We design custom, success-based programs for each institution. Our programs leverage the best of clinical therapy, supervision, and 12-Step recovery—the way it was intended to work.”
