Please Can Someone Answer?

my husband had a warrant out on him for failure to report in the state of ohio since november. he was arrested yesterday, the PO sent the sheriff to pick him up. he had called in november and december, in february, a warrant was issued the day he reported, he paid his fines, no arrest…we obtained an attorney, and he said to wait it out, he would talk to the PO, he finally did last week and now he’s in lock-up at the county jail…….i know that he doesn’t have to be revocated, we had family emergencies.

my question is…..the PO told him he was on a 72-hour hold. he was told this once, when he was arrested for testing positive on his drug test…they let him go 3 days later. oh, he’s been through rehab successfully, and tested clean…the PO was not mean to him this time, instead told him things i needed to bring in…..so…
is it just a hold? hey never put a 72 hour hold on him when he was revocated to rehab…….

confusing, yes!!! i need to know why they issued a 72-hour hold, if they plan on revocating…..do you think the PO is just trying to scare him like the first time? does anyone else have experience with this, particularly in ohio?
he has done everything the past 2 years to vindicate himself…….he’s not a victim, i need info about the 72-hour hold…..i don’t need smart comments, i am not the one on probation.
