So my dad used to be a major alcoholic for years..and he recently went to rehab and has been sober for 4 months..but i know that he is drinking again. one, because i can smell it. Two, i saw that his drink said “contains alcohol”. Three, he’s also been acting very weird and his mind is all over the place and he also drives while under the influence. It is exactly like the old days of how it used to be. Only not as bad with all the arguments, etc. Not yet anyways. He is also annoying the hell out of me. I mean what parent doesn’t annoy an 18 year old, but this is a different type of annoyance. He’s not making sense with what he says, as i said before, his mind is all over the place. He also says “what?” out of nowhere and can’t hear as well. His hearing has nothing to do with his age either. He is 49 y/o. Now we all know he did not ask to be an alcoholic and here are also a lot of other issues going on. What I am asking for is what should I do? Should I tell someone, like his sponsor, or sisters, or just leave it alone. This is tearing me apart and I don’t know what to do..any advice or suggestions would be great. thanks.

You should contact his sisters – their family and will probably love to help him. :)
