Q&A: Would This Be Considered Child Abuse?
Question by Jane D: Would this be considered child abuse?
Me and my my mom have hated each other for as long as i could remember. She has anger issues and several mental issues that need to be checked out (but she gets angry with me when i suggest it). She gets mad over the smallest things, and she takes her anger out on me.
And i looked up “What is child abuse?” but im still confused. im just wondering if officials would consider this child abuse and possibly lock my mom away?
Well first off, the emotional abuse. She would state every possible thing she can to break me down. She’d mention over and over again about how much she hates me,curse at me, make me feel degraded and tell me everyday, i swear everyday, abot how much she wants me out of the house and how she cant wait for the day i turn 18. this hurts me more than the physical abuse. it hurts to see my own mother, the person whos supposed to love me unconditionally, do this to me and i even went through this cutting phase and a drug phase and stuff.
As for physical abuse.. i mean this isnt on a daily basis or a weekly basis. it just happens she gets really mad. but sometimes she would slap me or pull my hair or whip me. and one time she even kicked me repeatedly while i was on the ground because i knocked her precious plant over.
is the stuff shes doing enough to get her locked away or moveme somewhere i dont ever have to see her again?
