sounds like you should talk to someone
try talking to your mom like you thought and its okay to cry in front of your parents they love you and they wont care
i do swim too and its not about being the best its about improving. it sounds like you’re a perfectionist and i am too but what i’ve learned to do is just say i don’t have to be the best i just have to get better. there’s a freshman girl on my team who’s as good as the seniors or better and they dont mind.
a C in spanish isn’t bad i mean it’s a whole other language! if you need to drop down or stay for extra help. just ask the teacher to help you with what you need help on.
if you can’t talk to your mom then go talk to your counselor. you won’t bother her its her job to help you! if she is bothered by you then its her fault she isn’t doing her job :D
