New Camden rehab center fills need for area residents
For the first time in more than a decade, local residents who need drug treatment won’t have to leave the county to be admitted to an inpatient facility.

Six area residents enter guilty pleas
Danny T. Day, 46, of 514 Arlington St., Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to driving while his operating privileges were suspended and was sentenced to serve 30 days in the county prison and pay a fine of $1,000. On a charge of driving the wrong way on Hagarty Avenue, Tamaqua, last Aug. 7 was fined $25 plus $50 costs.
