Video blogger Earle Sanford, D.Min., talks with Tony, a recovering alcoholic, about the role of God in his struggle against alcoholism.

“Tony is a great resource for recovering alcoholics — or anybody struggling with any kind of addiction — because he tells it like it is, and in the telling he offers a lot of hope,” says Sanford, who is host of the web site Standing under the Sky.

“We’ve talked twice before on the blog, and I wanted him back on because he offers those facing a similar struggle some insight into the process of recovery. He makes the point that it’s doable with God,” Sanford added.

Standing under the Sky offers resources for persons struggling with alcohol addiction, including links to the sites of 12-step programs.

“Tony’s insights have taught me more about alcoholism than all my years as a counselor — he’s a blessing, and the Internet is a great way to share that blessing,” said Sanford.
