Still Alive! Anonymous Global Protest January 17th 2009!

Time passes so quickly when you’re having fun. In one year a motley crew of anonymous protesters, using only words and small deeds (and the occasional dance party), brought an organization once confident in its power down on its knees. A group which Scientology thought would disband quickly instead endured, grew, and evolved. Only one year after this all began and rather than a passing fad to be forgotten, Anonymous is Still Alive. With our January protests we reflect this mood with GLaDOS’ famous words, ‘I’m still alive’. Anonymous remains legion and we remain dedicated to this cause. With this we also introduce a new theme declaring our steadfast resolve for the coming year. Bring your companion cubes, cake, portals, witty signs, and a fistful of determination, and together we will show Scientology just how “temporary” Anonymous really is. With a name like “Scientology,” it’s natural to assume that at least some of the religious practices are based in science. And that’s exactly what Scientologists would have you believe. The fact is, though, whenever Scientology practices are examined under the harsh critical eye of true science they fall apart. From their drug rehab programs that have been concluded to be both ineffective and potentially dangerous, to the basis of all Scientology practices: auditing. No wonder Scientology works so hard to silence it’s critics, they simply can’t face the facts. There is no “Science” in “Scientology”. It’s time to show the world. www
