Stop by Breathe Easy on First Night

KALISPELL, MONTANA (PRWEB) December 31, 2005

Smokers can stop at Breathe Easy Smoking Cessation, 19 Second Street East, Kalispell on First Night [New Year’s Eve], to learn more about quitting tobacco. A special drawing will be held to give away a free quit-smoking program, a 0 value.

The Breathe Easy System allows people to quit smoking without the usual experience of withdrawal. “We arm people with the facts and help them address their fears about quitting,” says Steve Malley, Breathe Easy owner. Since November, Breathe Easy has been providing information to the public [free of charge] from sources including the National Center for Disease Control, the American Cancer Society, and The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This information will be available to anyone who stops by on First Night. Some of the pamphlets emphasize quitting — others describe the problems people get from using tobacco. Health professionals and others can get information on helping smokers to quit. “Stop by and have a cup of cocoa, whether you smoke or not,” says Malley.

Cigarette smoking kills 440,000 people in the United States each year. That is more people than die each year from HIV, drug abuse, alcohol, car accidents, suicides, and murders combined.
