My Wife Is an Addict, We Have Two Children. Help Me!?

Question by blotto: My wife is an addict, we have two children. Help me!?
So this is a complicated problem. We have been together for 5 years. She used to be a major drug addict. After moving to TX from our hometown in OK and having our first child, 3 now, she heard from a friend about a doctor that would “help” her. You see she has bad scholiosis and has a real reason to seek treatment. After a few visits I noticed a problem. She was changing. She slurred, she was neglectful, she ignored my needs as her husband regardless of how much I tried to be romantic or help make her life as carefree as possible. She lied about going out, cheated on me, abused drugs she promised she never would again, acted like she was in no way interested in our new family, refused to hold a job and you see always seemed to lose large sums of money. After she started hitting and screaming at me, lying even more, getting caught with crank pipes in the house, getting CPS called on us for her habits and almost loosing our son. One day while fighting with her about helping ->
to clean the house and helping with the grocery list she stood up on the table and started hitting and screaming. I grabbed her held her down on the bed and told her to calm the f*ck down. When she finally stopped I let her go and left the room. Afterwords that night more happened between us as a result of her complete abuse of our family and neglect for our son and me, and all other responsibilities. I eventually pushed her while telling her to get the f*ck away from me and that she made me sick. This is the first time I have ever done any kind of pysichal stuff and it’s not me. Well she called the police after I took our son to my mom’s and told her I was leaving for the night to let her come down of the pills. ->
The police showed as I was leaving and to wrap this part up, now Im on prohbation and so is she for unrelated charges stemming from her drug abuse.
Now here’s today’s new problem after she actually cleaned up her act for 6 months while she was pregnent with another baby. She snuck to the dr. and got another prescription… Continue reading
