Proposed Los Angeles Rezoning Ordinance Has Many Sober Living Facilities Upset on Behalf of Disenfranchised
Malibu, Calif. (Vocus) October 5, 2010
As of the September 2010 Planning Department staff report, the city of Los Angeles is proposing zoning provisions that some businesses and individuals see as negatively impacting already disenfranchised peoples like college students and the elderly. The rezoning ordinance would ban all rent sharing agreements within duplexes or single-family residences and prevent individuals from living in housing of their choice.
