I have a relative who was in seven long term rehabs in 10 years and always relapsed. After many years he finally woke up (I think he just got older and sick of it) and has been clean for almost 12 years. From age 18 to 28 he just refused to make the changes he needed to make. He went from a total mess to a normal person who you would never know had a drug problem. comments?
