The Recovery Place Appoints Medical Director Dr. DeFilippo to Round Out Team of Rehab Experts

The Recovery Place, a Florida drug rehab center, announced the appointment of board certified psychiatrist, Antonio F. Di Filippo as medical director.

Dr. De Filippo’s experience includes the various executive posts of Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and/or Board of Advisers to a number of highly regarded local institutions including: Miami Behavioral Health, Spectrum Programs, Archways Community Mental Health Center, Susan B. Anthony Community Mental Health Center and the Broward County Health Planning Council. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of South Florida Psychiatric Services.

Dr. DeFilippo is a speaker for over a dozen major pharmaceutical corporations and is frequently requested as a consultant and trainer at national medical advisory meetings. He is also fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish.
