Ben will have to learn how to walk again. It has been nearly a month since he took a step on his own. We had been walking him around the garden before the surgery holding him for support but it’s been so long since he took independant steps. Most children who undergo tramatic brain surgery located mainly on one side often experience mild paralysis on the opposite side of their body for a short time following the surgery. Ben doesn;t seem to have this thankfully. He seems to be moving both sides of his body quite well/// we just need to get him up and moving again.
