What Do I Plead for a Possession of Alcohol?

Question by over here 88: What do I plead for a possession of alcohol?
The lawyer I spoke with at student services said I should ask for the “Diversion Program”, and not to say Guilty, Not Guilty, or No Contest.

However several guys I know said I should definatly plead no contest.

What should I do?
I walked on the front porch with a beer in my hand and there was an undercover cop standing right there, he told me to give him the beer and my i.d., I did so without hesitation.
