Question by FUNdie: What if we taught drug and alcohol reduction programs the same way we teach Comprehensive Sex Ed?
“You decide when the time is right for you to start experimenting with drugs and smoking. We know you can’t control yourself, so here’s some clean needles and cigarettes with filters so you can be safer if you decide to do drugs.”

Drug and Alcohol Reduction programs tell teens to “Just say No” to drugs. Why don’t we tell them to “Just say NO” to sex?

Maybe because there are proven results from comprehensive sex ed programs resulting in fewer unwanted pregnancies and STDs. Places with abstinence only sex ed plans have more unwanted kids and STDs.
