World Renowned Dual Diagnosis Clinic Sponsors Cultural Art Event and Announces Exhibit Presence at National Conferences

Between the months of February and May, The Challenges Program, a world renowned dual diagnosis clinic will be exhibiting at several national conferences and sponsoring Mark Lundolm’s Performance at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
Challenges is a state licensed and JCAHO accredited private addictions and mental health treatment center located in the greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. The world renowned program which specializes in the treatment of adults for issues relating to chemical dependency and relapse prevention will be exhibiting at various national conferences demonstrating their unique treatment process which is the only program in the United States accredited and endorsed by Terence Gorski, the most well recognized and preeminent authority on Relapse Prevention in the country.
On February 20-22, a member of the Challenges Program will be attending and speaking at The Moment of Change Intervention for Addiction & Mental Illness Conference. This groundbreaking national conference will focus on intervention, from the perspective of the Interventionist, the provider, the family member, and the recovering person.
On February 22-26, Challenges will be sponsoring the Broward Center for the Arts performance of Mark Lundholm’s dark and funny, one-man show, “Addicted”. Praised by the New York Times and the Chicago Tribune, Mark Lundholm’s hilarious and charming performance invites audiences on a thought provoking journey through a man’s decline and his subsequent ascension.
On March 17, Challenges will be exhibiting at the 2006 Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA) Conference, the world’s largest gathering of employee assistance professionals. EAPA’s Annual World EAP Conference, which will be held this year at Broward General Hospital, FL, is the most intensive and comprehensive learning/networking opportunity in the world dedicated to the growth of the Employee Assistance profession.
On April 28, Challenges will also be exhibiting at the 2006 National Conference on Aging & Addiction hosted at the West Palm Beach Marriot. Addiction professionals, medical professionals, psychologists, and Medical Doctors will be invited to learn more about the techniques used and programs made available by Challenges regarding older adults and addiction.
On May 14-16, Challenges Staff members will be attending The International Treatment Centers Convention hosted by The Gonzalez Recovery Residences in Vero Beach, Florida. Admissions, Medical, Treatment, Discharge Planning Clinicians and Marketing Personnel will have the opportunity to participate in various workshops where Challenges will present the salient features distinguishing their organization and recent developments to their Programs.
On May 21-22, Challenges will be exhibiting at the 2006 NAATP (National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers) Conference in West Palm Beach Florida hosted at the PGA National Resort. The mission of the NAATP conference is to promote, assist and enhance the delivery of ethical, effective, research-based treatment for alcoholism and other drug addictions. The Challenges Program will be located at Booth # 76 where they will be showcasing their innovative technologies, resources and world renowned programs.
