Tim Armstead’s motion to discharge the House Constitutional Revision Committee, regarding a resolution that would establish marriage as a union between one man and one woman, was voted down by a count of 67-30. Among the bills on second reading is a bill that would increase the beer tax as a means of providing more financial help to drug rehab clinics in the state.
