Author Combats Starvation With the Love of God

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) February 3, 2008

Like multitudes of people in this world, Roland Saenz was a drug and alcohol addict with no hope for the future–until God stepped into his life and set him free. After that, God began giving him visions to make a difference in this world. Part of the fulfillment of that vision is The Shepherd Boy’s Freedom (paperback, 978-1-60477-549-5), a book which will bring hope, encouragement, and strength to abused victims. The central theme of this book centers around freedom and healing from all suffering through Jesus.

Says Saenz, “I want for readers to gain hope to overcome their personal crises with the help of God just as I did. I hope they get rid of anger, fear, and other negative emotional problems so they can go forth with their lives and enjoy doing what they do best. The most important thing is the truth that God can do anything we need Him to do for us when we surrender our lives to Him, even deliverance from addictions.”

Saenz’s life began growing up on a ranch where he enjoyed raising animals and doing farm work. After his family moved to the city, life was different. After some very difficult times growing up, he received Jesus Christ into his heart and was able to conquer the crippling emotional problems that caused his life to lack stability. Now, says the author, “I feel very prepared to work this industry for these last days, as hunger and starvation is spreading like never before.”
