Homeless and Hopeless Turned Motivational Author

(PRWEB) December 13, 2004

Jay Kolo, a forty- three year old independent author, will be discussing his two most recent books The Terminal Game and Knee Deep In Prayer at a book signing from 10am to 12pm Saturday December eighteenth at Common Ground Book Outlet, Seminole Towne Center, Sanford, Florida. Mr. Kolo a recovering alcoholic who recently celebrated nine years of sobriety was once homeless and without hope or purpose. Since his last agonizing drop of alcohol Mr. Kolo has married and had two children of his own along with two stepchildren.

“It’s been a long and at times difficult journey” says Kolo. “My secret has been my reliance on prayer. Without the benefits of the power of prayer I would be right back where I was nearly ten years ago. Prayer is the reason I have a reason when I wake up each morning.” Kolo proudly states as he clutches his two motivational novels.

Besides his motivational novels Mr. Kolo, along with his wife Amy of seven years, also operate a web site dedicated to helping alcoholics and people of addiction. It features an inspirational monthly message along with many other helpful pages and resources directed at those who still succumb to the grips of alcohol.

On the eighteenth of December, however, Mr. Kolo will venture out to Common Ground Book Outlet with pen in hand and an unselfish willingness to share his painful story with others in hopes that his tragedies will be of some inspiration to those who have a reluctance when it comes to examining their own struggles.

“We are honored and excited to have Jay here for this signing. We feel that he has something special to say within the pages of these two fine books. They are motivating and moving. They touch the reader in a way that few books have the capacity of doing. I was inspired to the point of tears,” explains Chuck Munk, administrator of the Common Ground Book Outlet and pastor of Common Ground church.

Mr. Kolo has several other books which are due for release in the spring of 2005. If hope, direction and motivation is what you seek as the New Year approaches, a visit to this book event will not let you down.
