Can My Parents Force Me Into Therapy?

Question by Colin: Can my parents force me into therapy?
they think im depressed but im not, they think im a drug addict but the only drug i do is adderall to help with school (i dont have a prescription) and they think im hostile like im gonna try to kill them or something, i hate them my parents but i would never hit them or try to kill them

they say stuff like “oh ur going to therapy this summer willingly or by force”
ive been to therapy before last summer and i hated it and it only made things worse and when i tell them that they say stuff like “oh this time is going to be different we r gonna get u a different therapist”
can they really force me into therapy? like i havent done anything, if they could how would they do it? where would it be? and are they bluffing? and anything else do i need to know?

btw age15, male, california

personally i think this whole thing is stupid, just saying

If you’re under 18 you have to go… You don’t have to talk but you do have to go. It sucks, I know, but just go and don’t talk, they aren’t going to pay money for you to go sit in a room for an hour and not talk for very long.

They can make you go since your a minor. I know how you feel my dad makes me go to therapy(I’m sixteen).

I’d say the best you can do is not talk when your there. And you can refuse to go. But will your parents use physical force to make you go?
